Food Pairing : This Burgundy red wine is aromatic, high in acid and has low tannins, making it extremely versatile with food. A delightful match with fatty fish dishes, with grilled salmon as a classic example. Roasted chicken or duck dishes will work perfectly well. However, avoid adding too much spices as seasonings so as to not risk overpowering the wine. The Heimbourger is perfect alongside a platter of light soft cheese too.
