Tasting notes: "Wafting from the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, petals, spices, orange rind and raw cocoa, the 2021 Échezeaux Grand Cru is medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with excellent depth and flesh, structured around sweet tannins and concluding with a perfumed finish. This parcel is now managed with high canopies and cultivated using small caterpillar-tracked engines instead of tractors." - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

About the winery:
Domaine Felettig is one of the names that Burgundy connoisseurs would rather keep to themselves. Gilbert and his sister Christine form the second generation of winegrowers on the estate, after having succeeded from their father and founder of the Domaine, Henri Felettig. Pauline, Gilbert's daughter, has recently joined them. With a history of only 40 years, the Domaine has seen many changes from its very beginning and has expanded rapidly to reach a size of 12.5 hectares, whose 60% rented. Production is small, quality is high, as is the demand, which is why the family's wines are rarely seen outside France.
